One of several abandoned hotels in the costal towns of Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. During the bubble years several large hotels were built, to unsustainable levels. When the bubble burst many of these hotels were left to rot. It was as if someone had just shut the doors one day and never came back.
All of these shots were taken with a Leica M6 on Neopan 1600 film. There is something about the grain of film that gives abandoned shooting such character.
